Q&A with the cast of How To Vote - Ridgeline Youth Theatre Company
Question : What is one thing you think most people won't expect to see in How To Vote ?
Answer from Maddie : The audience has a really strong role to play too, they are also a part of this election.
Answer from Malaika : Definitely the variety of characters that we have.
Question : What should people most look forward to with our performance ?
Answer from Lucy : The performance itself, I think it'll be easy to see the time and effort that has gone into rehearsing/organising all of this.
Question : Without spoiling anything, what is your favourite scene in the entire play ?
Answer from Finley: I really like the debate. I love the stage play - it's fun but also kind of violent.
Answer from Molly : My favourite scene is when we see the college room playing their game 'murder ball', to me, that scene is really funny. Although the debate is a close second, especially when things start to get heated.
Answer from Heidi : Definitely the debate. A lot happens, I can't say too much, but there is a lot of shouting.
Question : What is something you want audience members to know before coming to our show?
Answer from Alice : We've worked really hard for this. We've been with this script for five months now, a lot of love has gone into this.
Answer from Quin: Expect the unexpected.
Question : How do you feel with the show being less than a month away?
Answer from Tess : Nervous, but definitely excited.
Answer from Lotte : Scared, but more excited - I know the performance is going to be really great.
